DARTS sensation Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler will star in a new Netflix live special as he takes on everyday fans at the oche.
Beat , which is scheduled to be broadcast on Friday, October 30, will see 20 amateurs step up to the world number one for a chance to win a £501,000 cash prize.
So could you soon find yourself attempting to check out ahead of the most formidable dart thrower on the planet – with half a million pounds at stake?
“Everyone thinks they can beat me,” Littler said. “Now they get a chance to prove it.”

What is Beat Luke Littler?
Hosted by and (providing analysis and checkout probabilities), Beat will pit 20 amateur hopefuls against the darting prodigy in a high-stakes duel.
“As a huge darts fan, and proud owner of a signed photo of Jocky Wilson, I couldn’t be more excited to join the amazing Beat Luke Littler live show,” Osman said.
Over the course of the night, the 20 challengers will face Littler back-to-back in front of an arena crowd.
Every contestant will get just one leg of 501, and should an amateur manage to check out before Littler does, they’ll walk away with the life-changing £501,000 jackpot.
It will air live exclusively on on Friday, October 30, and will be available to those with any active Netflix subscription, including Standard with Ads, Standard, or Premium 4K.
Produced in partnership with the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), the event will follow official PDC tournament rules and refereeing standards.
Could an amateur beat Littler?
On paper, taking on the world number one in just one leg of 501 sounds like an impossible task.
But there are a few wrinkles to the format that may have ambitious amateurs thinking they’re up to the challenge.
With 20 consecutive legs to play, Littler faces a marathon, and surviving 20 straight legs without dropping a single one is a big ask, even for the ace.
A single missed double could hand an amateur half a million pounds.
Osman added: “He’s the greatest player in the world. But 20 legs in a row?
“I honestly think someone is going to win that £501k. It’s going to be an incredible night.”
How to apply
Unfortunately, auditions for Beat Luke Littler, which took place in London and Manchester, have now closed.
The show’s producers and judging panel are currently whittling down the successful candidates to select the final 20 challengers.
But you can still register your interest for future series or potential backup spots.
You can do this online via the official casting portal at beatlukelittler.com .
You need to be at least 12 years old by October 13, with under-18s accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Importantly, you need to be a genuine darts amateur, meaning you cannot hold, or have ever held, an official PDC Tour Card.
But of course, pub league aces, Super League stalwarts, and non-tour card contenders are all welcome to apply.
Those who did make it to the auditions faced a gruelling process, including throwing in front of a panel featuring 16-time World Champion Phil ‘The Power‘ Taylor, commentator Laura Turner, and PDC chief Barry Hearn.
