A couple of Paris Saint-Germain players will not be at the 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony.

This is because the Le Classique against Marseille has been rescheduled to Monday night.

The Ligue 1 fixture was moved due to forecasts of severe storms in southern France.

This means the game will clash with the Ballon d’Or ceremony at the Theatre du Chatelet.

PSG’s Ousmane Dembélé is one of the big favourites to win the prize.

Nine other PSG players have also been nominated for awards, making the Parisian side the most represented club on the shortlist.

However, with the game now kicking off at the same time in Marseille, players could be forced to prioritise the derby over football’s most prestigious individual awards.

Dembélé and Désiré Doué are both injuredand could still be present at the ceremony.
