THE Premier League have officially “MOVED”; the date for Aston Villa’s Premier League clash with Tottenham.
The match was initially set to take place at Villa Park a week on Sunday.

But Spurs raised concerns over the timing of the match due to their potential participation in the Europa League final a few days later.
The north Londoners officially requested that the Premier League bring the match forward to Thursday, May 15.
Villa, however, vehemently objected to the request.
But Prem chiefs have granted Spurs’ wish and moved the match forward to Friday, May 16, the Telegraph have claimed.
The rearranging of the fixture means that Ange Postecoglou’s side will now have five full days to prepare for the final â should they make it â instead of two.
Spurs have a good chance of reaching their second European final in six years as they lead their semi-final tie with Bodo/Glimt 3-1 on aggregate after the first leg.
They’ll look to finish the job in the return leg in Norway on Thursday night.
And as it stands, it looks like they’ll be playing familiar opposition in the final, which takes place in Bilbao.

Spurs’ Prem rivals Manchester United currently lead Athletic Bilbao 3-0 in their respective semi-final tie.
THIS IS A DEVELOPING STORY..
