ARSENAL booked their place in the Carabao Cup – sealing their spot in the final with a 97th-minute goal.

And they progressed at the Emirates in boring fashion.

Arsenal were denied a late penalty when VAR cleared a check after Trevoh Chalobah slid in on Gabriel Martinelli.

But when it looked certain to finish 0-0, Kai Havertz rounded off a counterattack to tuck in the only goal of the second leg with the last kick.
