Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress, APC, will retain power in the 2027 general elections, citing the party’s grassroots support and political structure across the state.
Radda stated this during the inauguration of the Tinubu/Dikko Women and Youth Centre for 2027, a campaign organisation initiated by former Katsina State Governor, Ibrahim Shema.

“I have no doubt, no fear and no hesitation about our chances in the next election,” the governor said, expressing confidence in the party’s prospects ahead of the polls.

He said the APC would unveil its campaign programmes at the appropriate time and engage opposition parties during the official campaign period.

According to him, the campaign organisation, with structures across the 34 local government areas, wards and polling units in Katsina State, is expected to strengthen mobilisation among women, youths and other supporters.

Radda commended Shema for establishing the platform, describing it as an initiative that would further strengthen the party’s structure in the state.

Speaking at the event, Shema urged party members to support President Bola Tinubu, APC governors and other party candidates in future elections.

He also called for collective efforts to address insecurity, kidnapping and banditry, stressing that security challenges in one part of the country affect the nation as a whole.
