The Governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum, has stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) could register over two million members in the state following the initiation of the party’s digital membership registration program.
Zulum made this prediction on Sunday after he received his APC membership card during the launch of the initiative at the party’s state secretariat in Maiduguri.

The governor was registered by an agent from his ward, Aiari Unit 003, and was presented with his membership card by the Borno State APC Chairman, Bello Ayuba.

Also registered during this event were the Deputy Governor of Borno State, Umar Kadafur, and the APC Deputy National Chairman (North), Ali Dalori.

After the registration, Zulum remarked that the digital platform was intended to enhance internal party processes and encouraged members throughout the state to engage in the registration exercise.

He mentioned that with the backing of stakeholders, the party could surpass two million registered members in the state.

The digital registration initiative is designed to establish a centralized database of party members.
