ANTHONY Joshua made an emotional visit to his friends at a Nigerian funeral home after experiencing a “miraculous recovery” from a devastating road crash.
The former world heavyweight boxing champion, 36, escaped Monday’s accident with no serious injuries, a source informed The Sun.

He has since been discharged from the hospital in Lagos, Nigeria, and visited the funeral home where the bodies of his friends, Latz and Sina, are being held.

The private hospital where AJ was treated has been recognized as the best in Nigeria for the past two years, providing 24-hour one-on-one care.
Two of his closest friends, Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele, lost their lives upon impact when the SUV they were traveling in collided with a truck on the infamous Lagos-Ibadan highway.
He has now visited the funeral home where both of his friends’ bodies are being held, as reported by The Sun.
The former heavyweight champion was accompanied by his mother during this emotional visit to see his friends.
He had been hospitalized after narrowly escaping the tragic crash.
Despite rumors, tests have confirmed that the boxing legend miraculously suffered only minor injuries.
However, concerns have been raised that the grief and psychological impact from the road tragedy could jeopardize potential mega-fights next year.
His family has spoken out following the horrific crash, with his uncle Robert stating: “We have not been permitted to see him, but from the information provided by authorities, he is responding well to treatment.
“The incident has deeply affected our family. While our son, Anthony, is alive, two of his friends, who came to celebrate with us, lost their lives.
“This is a significant tragedy, not only for our family but for Ogun State, Nigeria, and the world as a whole.
“We are profoundly saddened that two individuals very close to Anthony did not survive. Our thoughts are with their families.”
