Fans of The Traitors are convinced they have figured out the red cloak twist in the new series following Claudia Winkleman's warning to the cast.
This week, it was announced that the faithful players will not only face the usual green-cloaked Traitors, but also one wearing a red cloak.

The former host hinted: “All I can say is that there’s something new this season, and what transpires is genuinely extraordinary, with moments that took my breath away.
“The producers always have brilliant ways to change the game.
“You might think you know how to win, but it turns out you don’t. The castle holds many secrets.
“It gets complicated. I mean, the show's creators must keep evolving it. When they share ideas with me, I often think, ‘You must be kidding!’”
As the new series is set to begin tomorrow night, fans have been speculating about what the twist might involve, with one focusing on a specific theory.
On social media, one viewer commented: “Does anyone remember Jack from season 3? As far as I recall, he’s the only player who hasn’t been banished or murdered, and Claudia mentioned in season 1 that ‘you only leave the game if you’ve been banished or murdered.’
“So what if he’s under the Red Cloak, making a comeback after last season to finally have a real chance at winning?
“After all, he never truly had an opportunity, and I’d like to believe the producers would give him another shot.”
Reddit users flocked to the comments to share their opinions, with one stating: “You can only leave the castle if you’re banished or murdered; he didn’t even make it to the castle.”
Another added: “I feel like the idea of the red cloak being someone returning is too obvious, and if I were in the cast, I’d be immediately suspicious of a returning player.”
Someone else responded: “That’s a valid point, but considering Jack didn’t really get to play the game (not making it to a Round Table or a breakfast, etc.), I think it might give him some leeway with the rest of the cast.
“But your argument is also why I wouldn’t want someone like Paul from season 2 or Andrea from season 1 to return (or pretty much any previous players) because they are already fixed in the roles of Traitor and Faithful – but Jack wasn’t definitively one or the other, so it kind of works for me personally.”
While another stated: “In the kindest way, I hope it’s not him. Jack had his chance.
“I understand it’s unfair what happened, but that’s how they wanted the game to play out. Someone had to go home, and unfortunately, that was him.”
Jack Marriner-Brown was eliminated in the first episode of the last series after choosing to leave the game.
He was later brought back for a challenge before being permanently removed from the show.
Executive producer Mike Cotton commented ahead of the show's premiere: “We always say each series is like its own murder mystery. We never alter the core game, but we constantly play with the twists surrounding it.
“What I can say about this season is that we challenge our Traitors more than ever; we really push them, and you’ll see that unfold later in the series.
“The Faithful will also face some brutal moments.
“What’s particularly interesting about this is that the game evolves differently because of it; some of the gameplay you’ll see later in the series is outstanding.”
