The surprising arrest has reportedly brought the couple closer together, according to friends.
It has even motivated Andy to make significant changes regarding his future.
An insider shared, “You might have thought Andy’s legal troubles would drive them apart, but it has actually strengthened their bond.
“Lou is committed to Andy no matter the circumstances. They have been keeping to themselves away from friends and family and seem to be in their own little world right now.
“After a sober Christmas, he has quietly decided to stop drinking and is truly enjoying his time in Bali with Lou.
“It’s been the perfect escape from reality.”
The couple has been together since Andy's split from his ex-wife and former TOWIE star in the summer of 2024. They are currently in the process of divorcing.
However, their relationship has not been without its challenges, with several public breakups over the past year.
In June, we reported on a break they took on the Greek party island of Mykonos.
Nevertheless, Lou has shown her support for Andy after his recent arrest, referring to him as the “love of my life” on social media this week.
“Happy Bali Birthday, my love,” she wrote.
“I love you so much, and I will always be by your side, my baby. Us forever and always x.”
After their latest breakup in August, Andy expressed his determination to salvage the relationship and acknowledged that their arguments often revolved around his drinking habits.
The 36-year-old former Premier League star stated, “Things have been challenging for me, especially as I am going through a divorce.

“Some of our arguments have been about alcohol since Lou has been teetotal for 14 years, while I have a beer or wine with dinner and a drink after the game. However, it’s not a significant issue in my life.
“I’m a professional footballer, and that’s not a concern for me. I play sports every single day, so my fitness level is excellent. I play football daily, which keeps me in shape.”
He was arrested in April, with the alleged offense reportedly occurring a month earlier.
Details about the case cannot be disclosed for legal reasons.
The Sun on Sunday reported in July about an unnamed individual after arriving in the UK.
After being charged, he was publicly identified.
Essex Police informed The Sun on Sunday: “A man has been charged with breaching a non-molestation order. Andrew Carroll, 36, from Epping, was arrested on April 27, and the alleged offenses relate to an incident in March. He is scheduled to appear at Chelmsford magistrates’ court on December 30.”
A non-molestation order is a court-issued injunction typically designed to prevent someone from approaching another person, their residence, or both.
Those who violate such an order may face criminal charges, which could lead to a prison sentence of up to five years.
