The candidate representing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the recent Anambra State governorship election, Jude Ezenwafor, has committed to collaborating with Governor Chukwuma Soludo to foster the state's development.
Ezenwafor made this statement on Monday during an interview on ‘Sunrise Daily’, a program aired on Channels Television, which was monitored by DAILY POST.

He characterized his relationship with Soludo as longstanding and amicable.

“I can support him. I have been supporting him in the past; he is my friend. I was the one who brought him on board in Anambra,” he remarked.

He disclosed that he encouraged Soludo to run for governor while he served as the Senior Special Assistant to former Governor Willie Obiano.

“I persuaded Soludo to enter the race initially when I held the position of Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano.

He came, performed admirably, and there is no such thing as a perfect individual,” Ezenwafor added.
Acknowledging the criticisms regarding security issues in the state, Ezenwafor commended Soludo and his team for their proactive approach.

He urged the governor to focus on inclusivity and enhance security operations.

In response to allegations of vote-buying during the election, Ezenwafor dismissed the claims as overstated.
