American singer, Billy Joel diagnosed with brain disorder

Popular American musician, Billy Joel, has been diagnosed with brain disorder.

The singer made this known on Friday, in a statement issued by his management on his Instagram page to cancel all his upcoming tours.

Billy Joel was diagnosed with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus, NPH, a brain condition that occurs after cerebrospinal fluid builds up in the skull and presses on the brain.

The 76-year-old according to his management, the worsening symptoms have affected his vision, hearing, and balance after recent performance.

“Under his doctor’s instructions, Billy is undergoing specific physical therapy and has been advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period.

“Your refund will automatically be processed back to original payment used for the purchase of the tickets”;;, the statement stated.

DAILY POST reports that the singer’s concerts were scheduled in Europe and America from April 26 to July 3.
