The brothers have been sex trafficking and offences related to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.

They are now being held in Florida’s Miami Federal Detention Center, where their lawyers claim they are suffering harsh conditions.

Self-described misogynist Andrew called his Special Housing Unit (SHU) ““.

The dual US-UK citizen claimed he had been forced to drink unclean water that made him sick.

His only water source, he complains, is a shower and a “brown and filthy faucet” which has left him suffering “persistent stomach problems”.

The jail has faced cooling and water problems and a clash between inmates and staff in recent months, according to the US Bureau of Prisons.

It comes as court documents revealed that the brothers – including one name borrowed from a Bond villain.

Andrew said he had been woken up in the middle of the night by other prisoners yelling death threats and had heard a “demonic roar” from a neighbouring cell.

He also claimed he was staying in “the worst possible conditions the US gov provides to and psychopaths”, adding that the inmate in the neighbouring cell was a “cannibal who screams throughout the night”.

In another message on X, Andrew complained he had “no commissary. No visits. No contact with the outside world.”

He ranted: “I am an innocent until proven guilty extradition detainee. I’m wanted by a foreign state. I am an American citizen. WHY AM I HERE?”

Their lawyers claimed they had not been let out of their cells at all for 11 of their first 15 days in the jail.

Last year, a report said inmates were forced to kneel and eat “like dogs”, with their hands shackled and food on chairs in front of them.

Toilets bubbling over with waste, crumbling infrastructure and an extreme use of force were also alleged by inmates’ families.

And as downtown Miami faces extreme heat, climbing above 30C, detainees say they have been left without air conditioning.

The facility has been blighted by AC issues for years, according to a 2020 report.

Inmates say they strip to their underwear amid the sweltering conditions and sweat through their sheets at night.

The brothers are fighting extradition to the UK, where they face a total of 59 criminal charges, including rape, sex trafficking and offenses related to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.

Allegations against them include having sex with a minor, trafficking minors, running an organised operation and laundering.

British prosecutors said new charges were fast-tracked after authorities investigated claims made by another four victims.

Andrew and Tristan both deny all wrongdoing.

A prison spokesperson told The Sun that inmates generally have access to commissary services, recreation, phone calls, social visits and legal counsel.
