Published on June 04, 2025 at 08:21 PM

The Accountant General of the Federation, AGF, Shemseldeen Babatunde Ogunjimi, has reaffirmed commitments that his office will ensure prompt release of the entitlement of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC.
Ogunjimi stated this during a working visit to the FRSC Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, in Abuja.

A statement on Wednesday by the Director of the Press at the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, OAGF, Bawa Mokwa, said that Ogunjimi noted that there has always been a cordial working relationship between OAGF and FRSC and assured that the relationship would be strengthened and sustained.

“Your officers and men are always on the road trying to keep the roads safe. For us at the Treasury, we will continue to support the FRSC. I want to assure you that every bit of your request and needs will be given prompt attention,”; he said.

Speaking earlier, Mohammed lauded the AGF for the visit and support for FRSC.
He said road safety has become a global agenda, adding that FRSC would not relent in its determination to ensure safety on Nigerian roads.
