AfroBasket 2025: D’Tigress, Senegal to clash in semis

Nigeria’s D’Tigress, and Senegal will clash in the semi-finals at the ongoing 2025 Women’s AfroBasket in Cote d’Ivoire.

Senegal defeated hosts, Cote d’Ivoire 66-60 in a keenly contested quarter-final tie to book a place in the last four.

The Senegalese are coached by former D’Tigress coach Otis Hughley.

Nigeria overpowered Cameroon 83-47 to seal place in the semi-finals.

Rena Wakama’s side are now unbeaten in 27 games at the Women’s AfroBasket finals.

D’Tigress are looking to make history as the first team to win five consecutive title in the history of the competition.

Mali, and South Sudan will clash in the other last four tie.
