Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has highlighted three teammates who are likely to provide goals and assists for the Super Eagles during the knockout stage of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.

Nigeria is set to play against Mozambique in the Round of 16 on Monday, after finishing at the top of Group C with a perfect 9 points, which included a 3-1 victory over Uganda on Tuesday.

Following the match against Uganda, Osimhen pointed out Ademola Lookman, Paul Onuachu, and Akor Adams as vital players who can support the Super Eagles in the knockout phases.

“I can’t guarantee that I’ll score more goals in the Round of 16,” Osimhen told reporters.

“What I can promise is a strong performance, a commitment to my team, and a determination to ensure that the Super Eagles emerge victorious.

“We have Paul, Akor, and Ade [Ademola Lookman] who can make significant contributions in terms of scoring goals and providing assists.”
