The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC, has blamed technical fault for the power outage in parts of Abuja.
The disco disclosed this in a notice on Monday.
AEDC said the outage affected areas such as Flower Gate Estate, Apo Mechanic Village, Wumba Village, Waru Village, Super cell Estate, Efab Estate, all the Saraha homes, IPENT , 3, 4, and 5, and Basic Estate.
Also, Nzube Estate, Copacabana Estate, Vision Court Estate, Kabusa Village, Dogogada Village, Living Faith Church, Peace Court Estate, Sunshine Homes, Fafu Homes, Pent Ville Estate, FRSC Estate, Pigbakasa, and Pigbasama Village were affected by the blackout.
“We regret to inform you that the current power outage is due to a technical fault affecting the feeder serving your area.
“Our technical team is working tirelessly to restore power supply as quickly as possible,” AEDC stated.
