Adamawa Police conducts Show of Strength to signify readiness for Ganye by-election

The Adamawa State Police Command has placed its operatives on high alert to deal with anyone who may be planning to carry out any act capable of disrupting the House of Assembly by-election scheduled for Ganye on Saturday, August 16,2025.

The Command which stated this on Friday, said the its operational and manpower assets are on high gear to sustain the designed security template aimed at keeping the electorate and INEC materials safe.

The command which conducted an Operation Show of Strength in Ganye Thursday, said the exercise is to show anyone who may be planning mischief that the police would be up against them.

The command, in a statement released by its Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, appealed to members of the public to report any suspicious movement around their neighborhood.

“Shun all forms of violence and be law-abiding. Cooperate with the security agents and submit yourself for searching if need be,” the command stated, assuring that the police is concerned about the safety of everyone.
