The Adamawa State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has recorded 202,504 members in its e-registration exercise.
The state Organising Secretary of the party, Mustapha Atiku Ribadu who disclosed this, said the total comprises 125,217 male members and 77,287 female members.

“We successfully met our target of 200k people prior to January 20th, fulfilling our commitment to key stakeholders,” Mustapha Ribadu said in an update he issued on the exercise Saturday night.

He added, “I am pleased to report that our goal of 300k by January 31st remains achievable. Let us continue to sustain our momentum, our dear ward agents.”

The APC which is today the biggest opposition party in Adamawa State where the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has the governor and clear majority in the House of Assembly, looks towards turning the table and possibly becoming the ruling party come 2027.

If it happens, it will be a return to power which it held between 2015 and 2019 when Jibrilla Bindow, now in African Democratic Congress, ADC, reigned as the APC governor.
