ADAM Thomas has returned to work after an emotional week following the dramatic I’m a Celebrity South Africa final.

Now, keen to move on with his life, the actor has returned to one of the jobs he really loves, acting.
The TV star revealed he was back on the set of , and was filming the new series.
The actor, who first found fame on the smash hit school drama in 2006, shared a snap from the set of show.

In the photo, which posted on his Stories, a classroom could be seen and a man holding a clapper board which read “Waterloo Road”.
The star has been on the show on and off for 17 years, playing Donte Charles.
Adam left the , when he joined the cast of in 2009 playing Adam Barton.
But after quitting the soap, he then returned to the school drama for their 2023 reboot, and has been on the show ever since.

Returning to the Waterloo Road set will be some welcome relief for Adam, after an incredibly tough week.

Addressing the heated clash for the first time on the At Home With The Thomas Bros podcast — with his brothers and , the actor got emotional as he recalled the situation.
Adam explained: “It’s so difficult because even when I got out and I explained what I went through, you guys, my friends, you won’t understand what I went through.

“The fact that it’s been turned into entertainment for live television, for a show, for a family show that I loved. I’ve got so much to thank this show for; ten years ago this show put me on the map.
“Even after the live show and everything that happened, I still can’t escape it.
“I’m on Instagram and TikTok, just the algorithm and everyone talking about it, everyone saying their bit and how they saw it.
“I’m just tired, I want it all to go away and just be forgotten about.

“The sad truth is that everyone will go on with their lives but for me, this will be in for me the rest of his life,” the former star said as he choked back tears.
“I will live with everything that’s happened from the very start and to the very finish, this is part of my DNA now, it’s made me the person that I am.
“It’s hard because right now I can’t see any light, I can’t see the positive in it.”
The actor also that he wanted to “break” him, leaving the star to finally admit he had been bullied.
