However his win was and regarding their time together in camp, and Adam looked closed to tears at the point announced he had won over Sir Mo Farah.
Adam was barely able to crack a smile in the final moments of the show, and failed to appear on spin-off show Unpacked immediately afterwards.
Now pictures have emerged of Adam leaving the studios within half an hour of his win, showing how quickly he decided to leave the situation.
Adam looked downcast as he stood at the door at 11pm, while other pictures showed him in the reception with his siblings Ryan and Scott, with co-star clearly being interviewed on Unpacked on a screen behind them.
The star appeared to leave at a separate time to former footballer Jimmy Bullard, who he spectacularly clashed with during a trial in South Africa.
Their altercation was a heated topic on the live show, and saw hosts Ant and Dec also get drawn into the argument.
Ant, 50, was then seen as he came face to face with Jimmy.
While Adam didn’t have a winners chat on Unpacked, he did take to Instagram today to thank his fans and
Alongside a picture with wife Caroline, he wrote: “I walked through this journey with my heart first, no matter what came my way…It was not always easy, there were moments that could have broken me, but I stayed true to myself and that is something I will always be proud of.
“I have realised that when people try to dim your light, it says more about them than it ever will about you.

“This experience has shown me my strength in ways I never imagined. Not because of any title or recognition, but because I stayed kind, I stayed grounded and I stayed real.”
His post came after twin brother as well.
He wrote: “That wasn’t an easy watch last night but our brother handled it with dignity and courage.
“Don’t EVER let anyone take your shine away from you my brother, you deserve nothing but the best and there is a whole army of people behind you who love you so much!

Meanwhile, last night as she took aim at those who had ‘ruined’ Adam’s win, while Craig Charles also , claiming they chose to focus on the controversy.
