ADAM Peaty’s brother has been arrested over allegations he sent threats to the Olympian during his stag-do.
It saw swimmer Adam, 30, get a on Sunday after the trip to Budapest.

James Peaty, 34, was held at his home in Uttoxeter, Staffs, on Monday and bailed.
The family are said to feel “pushed aside” before Adam’s wedding to Holly Ramsay.
The pair’s dad Mark told The Sun: “They’re brothers.
“They’ve always been close but like any normal family, brothers fight, argue, fall out, make-up and start all over again. But it’s got out of hand.
“There’s been very little empathy towards Jamie’s genuine mental health difficulties.”
However a source close to Adam and Holly said: “ is heart-breaking from both sides.
‘Utterly torn’
“But the reality is that Adam sees his mum Caroline to be enabling his brother’s actions rather than pushing him to deal with his demons.
“Poor Caroline must feel utterly torn and it’s just very hard for everyone.
“ has been incredibly supportive of Holly and Adam; after all, he’s been through similar issues with his own brother.”

Discussing Monday’s arrest, a family source close to James last night insisted he would “never hurt his brother Adam”.
They added: “It’s ridiculous that back from his stag-do.
“James would never hurt a bone in Adam’s body and doesn’t even drive, so how would he have gone to the airport?”
The brothers first fell out when Adam wrote about James’s “demons” when discussing his brother’s past drug issues in his 2021 autobiography.
The latest row centres around Adam’s Christmas wedding to , 25, at Bath Abbey — and the fact the Peatys feel “pushed to the side”.
It’s understood the brothers have not been on speaking terms since June when James had been working on a building project for Adam.
James was upset about the comments Adam made in his book The Gladiator Mindset, where he wrote about James having demons.

James had been asked to be a groomsman at the wedding, but was not invited on the stag-do owing to the row.
On Monday, it was revealed the swimmer’s mum Caroline, 59, had also .
The next day her sister Louise said: “Holly and Adam have broken her.”
A family source told The Sun: “Adam and James were always close and they just fight like siblings always fight and argue between themselves.
“They’ve always made-up and been there for each other but since Adam’s engagement, relationships have deteriorated.
“James was upset about the The Gladiator Mindset, where he wrote about James having demons and his brothers being in with the wrong crowd.
“James felt like he was portrayed as a bum in the book and people around town would ask him about what Adam wrote about him.

“The family felt like they were pushed to one side at Adam and Holly’s engagement party last December at Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street restaurant in .
“James has worked for Adam on his home and has been under a lot of pressure.
“James’s has taken a turn for the worse since June and he hasn’t been communicating with Adam since then.
“Before that, he was supposed to be a groomsman at Adam’s wedding.
“James lost a baby in August last year and his wife Charlotte had another miscarriage in recent weeks.
The family feel like they’ve had little economic support from Adam and that he’s changed since he’s been with Holly.

“All of that has impacted his mental health in a big way.
“Adam also fell out with his older half-brother Rich, who was working for him too.
“The family has really gone through hell over all this.”
The family were also upset by comments they say Adam made to his mother about outfits she had bought for the wedding.
The source said: “Adam told his mum that she couldn’t wear the two dresses she had bought for the wedding for £700 and the family believe that came from Holly.”
Last weekend, with Adam in Budapest, model Holly held her hen-do at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire, where she was joined by her mum Tana and family friend .

But Adam’s mum Caroline was absent.
The source said: “The family feel like Caroline not being invited to Holly’s hen-do is because Holly looks down on Adam’s family.
“The family believe Holly doesn’t consider Caroline glamorous enough.
“There was no good reason given for Caroline not being invited to the hen-do.
“The family feel like they’ve had little economic support from Adam and that he’s changed since he’s been with Holly.
“They think Adam and Holly don’t feel like they’re good enough.
“The stress from this situation has taken its toll on both Caroline and Mark.”
Last night a Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We arrested a 34-year-old man, from the Uttoxeter area, on November 11, 2025, on suspicion of harassment.
“The man was released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue.”
