Factional National Chairman of the Labour Party, LP, Julius Abure, has paid a condolence visit to the party’s 2023 vice presidential candidate, Datti Baba Ahmed, over the death of his elder brother, Mustaph Baba-Ahmed.

This was contained in a statement by the factional National Publicity Secretary of the party, Obiora Ifoh.

DAILY POST reports that the late Mustaph Baba-Ahmed who died in Medina last week was interred in the holy Land in accordance with Islamic rites.

Accompanied by some members of the party’s National Executive Committee, Abure commended the virtues of late Mustaph Baba-Ahmed, a first class product and a successful business man.

“I know that obviously, the death will leave a big hole in the family but we are trusting God to bring succour to the family and to provide for the young family he left behind,” Abure said.

Responding, Datti Baba-Ahmed appreciated Abure and his entourage for being with the family at this period of mourning.

He said, “The family is so happy and proud of the party. We are proud that the entire Labour Party came to condole with us. We thank you for showing empathy with us.”
