FROM luxury face creams to expensive surgery, many of us have forked out a small fortune over the years in a bid to turn back the clock.

But according to one age-defying woman named Pamela Jean Allyn, who is from Seattle, , , there’s no need to splash the cash to knock decades off your appearance.

Instead, the 74-year-old, who has been mistaken for being her niece Brittany’s sister, has revealed her top anti-ageing beauty secrets – and the bargain buy from she swears by.

And perhaps the best part of all? It won’t break the bank either.

Speaking exclusively to Fabulous, she has shared her exact regime – and explained why using “tepid” water is key.

Pamela explains: “Remove your makeup at night with a gentle cleanser and tepid water…not hot! Use your fingertips gently! Do not move or wipe your skin!! Just gentle circular fashion lightly!

“To dry your face do not rub with a towel…but dab it gently. Apply a serum and let it dry, and then put on a retinol lotion. Don’t forget your neck and chest when applying these.

“To apply these, I put a ‘dab’ on my forehead, cheeks, above my mouth, chin, neck, chest etc., and then ‘gently,’ with my fingertips in a circular motion rub it in.

“Again…do not move your skin…only your fingertips. It’s also good as a protective measure to apply another cream over the retinol lotion.”

Pamela goes on to urge people not to cleanse their face in the morning.

Instead, she recommends just splashing it with tepid water and gently dabbing your face with a towel.

“Then, apply your serum and moisturiser,” she adds.

As for big no no’s, Pamela is a firm believer that you shouldn’t sunbathe – especially when it comes to your face.

She says: “Yes, it may look good to have that tan, but it will ‘catch up’ with you when you are older. You will get age spots, patches, wrinkly skin etc.

“Everyone gets wrinkles and spots as they age, but especially if you laid in the sun! No one can escape this…it is inevitable and just part of life!”

“I do a lot of stretching to keep limber, but I’m a walker,” she says. “I have a small dog who demands I walk her 2-3 miles per day.

“There is something special about walking. When I got her last year, I started walking her, and I lost 10 pounds and didn’t even realise this would just happen!”

While Pamela admits she’s got a “sweet” tooth, she still ensures she eats “extremely healthy.”

Sharing an example of a typical breakfast, she explains: “For breakfast I might have an avocado on a big seed cracker with olive oil drizzled on it and salt and pepper, then some yogurt or cottage cheese with mixed berries, honey and cinnamon.

“Another morning might be a big chunk of hard cheese on the seed cracker. Maybe leftovers…a chicken thigh from the night before!

“Breakfast is weird for me. I had a bowl of White Bean Chicken Chili yesterday! Lots of protein goes in my mouth! Eggs poached or scrambled with cheese….”

Pamela goes on to say that lunch is like breakfast and tends to be quite random.

How is celery juice an anti-ageing potion?

Celery juice is packed with antioxidants like vitamin C and flavonoids, which combat free radicals that cause cellular damage and aging.

Its high water content keeps your skin hydrated and plump, reducing the appearance of wrinkles.

As for dinner, she might make a big bowl of homemade soup, salad, or pasta with broccoli, walnuts, and chunks of chicken.

“I love to make turkey burgers (no bun),” she continues. “I also make a great zucchini lasagne.

“I eat a lot of baked chicken thighs. I just put olive oil and them, some salt and pepper, and bake them for about 30 minutes.

“I eat a ton of cheese, beans, nuts, and chicken.”

Pamela, who only eats organic, reveals she does treat herself to steak or bread and butter when she goes to a restaurant, but not when she’s at home.
