The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Friday warned former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and other members of the coalition to get ready for a contest.

Wike warned that Atiku and his coalition would “face us when the time comes”;.

He also criticized Atiku over his series of defections in different political parties since 1999.

The minister spoke during the commissioning of the Newly Rehabilitated Aguma Palace-Radio Nigeria-New Market Road in the Gwagwalada area council of the FCT.

The project was commissioned by Vice President Kashim Shettima who represented President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking at the event, Wike said: “In 2023, they said they would support one man whose business has been from 1999 I’m in this party, 2006 in this party, 2014 in this party, 2019 in the other party, now 2025 in another coalition – ‘dem born you born coalition?”;

The minister urged President Bola Tinubu to be proud, claiming that his administration has changed the narrative.

“Mr President, I want you to be proud because you have changed the narrative, it doesn’t matter about those people who will never be happy.

“God has given you life and you said you won’t be happy, that is your business – God has done his own.

“Since you said you won’t be happy, may you never be happy; me I’m always happy, so let them not be happy, they will face us when the time comes,”; he added.
