The Social Democratic Party, SDP Kaduna State chapter has described former governor of the state, Nasir El-rufai as a strategic thinker, whose presence cannot be ignored.
In an interview with The Sun, the Kaduna State Publicity Secretary of the party, Darius Kurah claimed that El-rufai’s presence usually “unsettles those who fear real change”.
According to him, “El-Rufai is not just a former governor, he’s a strategic thinker and a political heavyweight with national recognition and proven administrative competence.
“His decision to join SDP is a huge boost to our party’s credibility and political capital.
“Naturally, his presence unsettles those who fear real change, because he brings with him a strong support base, national connections, and a bold reformist vision that aligns perfectly with the SDP’s progressive agenda”.
DAILY POST reports that El-rufai on March 10, dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC for SDP.
His membership of the party had, however, raised some dust among stakeholders in the party.
The former governor, who is currently working with opposition leaders to oust the present government in 2027 was recently expelled from SDP.
