2027: Peter Obi as Atiku’s vice-president makes him desperate, unserious – Keyamo

Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has claimed that Peter Obi will come across as “desperate and unserious” if he emerges as Atiku Abubakar’s running mate in the 2027 general elections.

Keyamo stated this while speaking on Arise TV’s Prime Time on Monday night.

He pointed out that Obi ran as Atiku’s vice-president in 2019 under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Four years later, the former Anambra governor emerged the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, finishing third in the polls behind President Bola Tinubu and Atiku.

There are speculations that Obi could be once again the running to Atiku in the next general elections, under the umbrella of the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

But Keyamo said: “It is doom for them. There is no way forward for them in that coalition.

“You will now have that Obi picture of a vice-presidential candidate 2019, presidential candidate 2023, vice-presidential candidate 2027.

“It gives a picture of a desperate, unserious individual.”
