The National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement Worldwide, Yunusa Tanko, asserts that Nigeria is struggling in every aspect.
Tanko expressed this viewpoint on Thursday during an interview on Arise Television, which was monitored by DAILY POST.
He emphasized that the Obidient Movement and all Nigerian youth have faith in the former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to restore Nigeria to its former glory if given the chance to lead the nation as president.
Tanko stated that Nigerian youths are not weak; they are strong, resolute, and prepared to take action, highlighting that they are an essential force.
“We have faith in Peter Obi, who has demonstrated resilience and determination. The situation is akin to being submerged in a river or an ocean with a double-edged sword. You can either seize it or drown.
“For anyone contemplating otherwise, this is an opportunity for them to take a stand, because Nigeria is indeed sinking, and we can see it with our own eyes. You can either join the coalition and work towards building a vibrant and united nation, or we will all face the consequences.
“At this moment, I believe it is crucial for those who are inclined to make a specific decision to do so collectively. His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, is seriously relying on their support, and they are observing and prepared to take action. While anyone can act independently, he has the people to answer to.
“Keep in mind what is happening in the country, where members of the Federal House of Representatives have returned to their communities only to be assaulted severely. While we do not endorse violence, it serves as a political example of what one might face if they choose to go against the will of the people,” he stated.
