The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and chairman of Gerawa Group of Companies, Alhaji Isa Gerawa, has declared that Jigawa State will remain under APC control in the 2027 elections.
He stated this while addressing party supporters at Ringim Government House.
He said that since the inception of the APC’s administration, it had done a lot for the development of the state and its populace.
According to him, “the state has now become a reference point among its peers with many copying directly to replicate it in their various states.”
He explained that this had also weakened the opposition, including PDP, NNPP and ADC, making it difficult for them to function in the state, with thousands of their supporters continually defecting to the APC.
He cautioned opposition parties to “stay away and stop wasting their time,” insisting that the state firmly belongs to APC.
Gerawa pledged to work tirelessly for the success of Governor Umar Namadi’s administration and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
“We will do anything possible to ensure the reelection of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu and Governor Umar Namadi in the coming 2027 elections,” Gerawa said.
The chieftain also urged party members to give their full support to ensure the party’s continued achievements and victory in 2027.
