Special Adviser to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Communications and Strategy, Phrank Shuaibu, has revealed why his principal resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party.
Speaking as a guest on Sunrise Daily, a programme on Channels Television on Thursday, Shuaibu said Atiku left the PDP because the party has lost its voice, favour, and vitality to serve as the right opposition to the current administration.
DAILY POST reports that Atiku on Wednesday , predicating his resignation on the trajectory the party has taken.
“He is not giving up. He can’t give up until he sees a better Nigeria. Atiku will not give up until we get rid of this clueless government. He will not give up until we have good leaders for this country called Nigeria.
Leaving PDP is not about fear or about capitulation. It is about making an informed decision based on principle,”; Shuaibu said.
