England manager, Thomas Tuchel, has said he was happy with Noni Madueke’s attitude in the Three Lions 5-0 win over Serbia.

However, the German tactician said the English winger needed to be focused.

Madueke scored England’s second goal in the 35th-minute with Captain Harry Kane, Ezri Konsa and Marc Guehi also on the scoresheet

Marcus Rashford came off the bench to score the final goal from the spot at Belgrade’s Rajko Mitic Stadium.

Addressing the press after the game, Tuchel hailed Madueke’s eye-catching display but insisted the winger needs to improve.

The former Chelsea boss said he was happy because the Arsenal star played with hunger.

“On top of that, he needs to stay focussed and I’m most happy about his attitude today, the reaction after ball losses, the work that he put in to help Reece [James]

‘The work-rate is what I like the most in his performance today and, yeah, from there he’s fast, he’s direct, he likes to dribble. That’s what we want from him.”

England is seven points better than Armenia in the Group K of the European qualifying series.

Their next game is against Latvia in October and Madueke will be hoping to retain his place in Thomas Tuchel’s lineup.
