Falconets duo, Christiana Uzoma and Ramotalahi Kareem are in buoyant mood ahead of the team’s Round of 16 encounter against England’s Young Lionesses.

Moses Aduku’s side will battle England for a place in the quarter-finals at the Bielsko-Biala Stadium on Thursday (today).

Captain Uzoma declared that the team is fired up for the crucial fixture.

”The mood in camp is very good, it’s a winning mentality.We are not scared of England, we are fully prepared for them and Nigerians should expect victory,” Uzoma told the team’s media.

Kareem played a crucial role in Nigeria’s 10-1 victory over New Caledonia which guaranteed the Falconets a place in the Round of 16.

The youngster promised their fans they would not disappoint them.

”Please come and support us, pray for us and we are promising you that we won’t disappoint, we will win,” Kareem added.
