2025 U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles, Morocco share spoils

Published on May 04, 2025 at 08:38 PM

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles and Morocco played out a goalless draw in their Group B clash at the June 30 Air Defence Stadium in Cairo.

Both teams struggled to create any clear-cut scoring opportunities throughout the match.

The Flying Eagles dominated the first half but managed just one shot on target.

Morocco took control after the break but posed little threat to goalkeeper Ebenezer Harcourt.

The North Africans remain top of the group, albeit on goal difference, as they are level on four points with Nigeria.

Tunisia, who defeated Kenya 3-1 earlier in the day, occupy third place with three points.

The Flying Eagles will face Kenya in their final group fixture on Wednesday.
