Two defeats in a week for Liverpool has just quelled the feel good feeling around Anfield slightly.
Liverpool go into the Premier League weekend in fifth place after their loss to Arsenal last time out and now sit nine points off the top before a ball has been kicked.
The loss to Fenerbahce also wasn’t particularly great, having led twice before losing on the continent.
But they head now to a Palace side in worse shape than them at the minute as they sit in the bottom three and without a Premier League goal in their last three games.
It’s been almost a decade since they last lost more than three league games in a row without scoring and it’s reflected in the fact they’ve faced 79 more shots at their goal than they’ve managed themselves – which is a league high.
They did win this fixture last season to end a 10-game wait for a Selhurst Park win over the Reds.
Liverpool are unbeaten away from home this season so far, while boss Andoni Iraola is unbeaten in all 13 of his Premier League away games in 2026 across his two managerial jobs.
