Sixteen prospective Corps members tragically lost their lives in a severe accident while en route to the NYSC orientation camp in Gombe State.

Reports indicate that all of them were graduates of Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED) located in Ondo State.

They were traveling in an 18-seater bus when the incident occurred.

Eyewitnesses have described the crash as “catastrophic.”

Two additional students survived the incident but are currently in critical condition at a hospital.
