Zubairu to submit Flying Eagles squad for U-20 World Cup September 29

Flying Eagles head coach Aliyu Zubairu will submit his final squad for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile on Friday, 19 September, DAILY POST reports.

The seven-time African champions are currently preparing for the competition in Abuja.

Zubairu, according to SCORENigeria, is expected to include a number of foreign-based professionals in his squad for the biennial competition.

The Flying Eagles are due to fly out to Chile for their final preparation next week.

Nigeria will face Norway, Saudi Arabia, and Sweden in the group stage.

Zubairu’s side will open their campaign against Norway on Monday, 29 September.
