Youth repel bandits in Katsina communities, foil abduction attempts

Youth in Katsina State on Tuesday night successfully repelled armed bandits who attacked Rafin Iwa in Sabuwa Local Government Area and Unguwar Galadima in Bakori LGA, preventing any abductions and forcing the attackers to retreat.

This was contained in a post by security analyst Bakatsine on Wednesday.

According to Bakatsine, the bandits reportedly stormed the villages under the cover of darkness but met stiff resistance from vigilant youths who mobilized swiftly to defend their communities.

“Last night, bandits attacked Rafin Iwa in Sabuwa LGA and Unguwar Galadima in Bakori LGA, but the courageous youth of both communities repelled them. No one was abducted.”;;

Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the incident.
