SBS’s upcoming comedy sports drama “The Winning Try” has unveiled a sneak peek of Yoon Kye Sang on his very first day as coach!

“The Winning Try” tells the story of Joo Ga Ram (Yoon Kye Sang), a former rugby star who falls from grace due to a doping scandal. After he returns to his alma mater as the new coach of its bottom-ranked high school rugby team, he leads the underdog squad on a quest to win the National Sports Festival.

In the newly released stills, former rugby star Joo Ga Ram makes his entrance into the teachers’ office on his first day, looking sharp in a suit. His confident smile and clean-cut appearance suggest that he sees himself as the perfect candidate to coach the Hanyang Physical Education High School rugby team.

However, while Joo Ga Ram looks self-assured, Vice Principal Sung Jong Man ( Kim Min Sang ) and shooting team coach Jeon Nak Gyun ( Lee Sung Wook ) appear stunned. As key figures pushing to disband the rugby team, they are clearly displeased with the arrival of a new coach for the school’s long-time last-place squad. Vice Principal Sung Jong Man, who is also a strong candidate for the next principal and holds significant power at the school, shoots a cold glare at Principal Kang Jung Hyo ( Gil Hae Yeon ), clearly unhappy about Joo Ga Ram’s sudden appointment.

“The Winning Try” premieres on July 25 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
