Moment yob knocks pub-goer out with single punch outside Spoons… before calmly sipping his drink as he wanders away

SHOCKING footage shows the moment a thug knocked out a man with a single punch outside a Wetherspoons pub.

The assault happened on the night of England’s Euros Final match against last year.

In CCTV footage of the attack, Gustaffe was seen arguing with a man outside the pub.

Out of nowhere he sucker punches his victim with a right hand, with the man sent tumbling to the ground.

The violent thug was then seen calmly walking away and taking a sip of his drink after leaving his victim in a daze.

Richard Jones, prosecuting, said: “Mr Gustaffe struck the victim with one blow causing him to fall down.

“The victim had gone to see the Euros finals with his friends. He didn’t know the defendant.

“The victim accused the defendant of stealing his mobile phone but the defendant told him he didn’t have it. He was annoyed he had been accused. He then punched him in the face.

“The victim’s skull was fractured and he suffered a brain bleed and bruising to the brain.”

Woolwich Crown heard how the victim’s brain had been pushed around three millimetres inside his skull as a result of the incident.

He was left struggling with information processing, planning and problem solving after the attack.

Mr Jones added: “The victim has suffered serious consequences.

“He gets angry for no reason now and he has been placed on anti-depressants.

“He did not have these issues before the attack.”

The victim had to take time off work due to the incident and is currently unemployed.

The prosecutor said that his former place of “was not prepared to wait to see if he got any better”.

Gustaffe was jailed for two years for assault causing grievous bodily harm at Woolwich Crown Court on Thursday.

The court heard yesterday how Gustaffe has a range of previous convictions – including for robbery, burglary, assault and battery.

Mark Stevens, defending, said Gustaffe used to care for his elderly grandmother and also plays an active role in his son’s life.

The court also heard that the defendant, from Southwark, hopes to return to his career as a chef after his release from .
