Yaya Toure’s first managerial job revealed

Ex-Ivory Coast midfielder, Yaya Toure, is set to land his first-ever managerial role with Daring Brussels, according to Sport.

Toure is currently with the Saudi Arabia national team, where is works as the assistant coach under Herve Renard.

The former Manchester City man, in the past, held similar roles at Standard Liège, Akhmat Grozny and Olimpik Donetsk

He also worked as Tottenham U-16s coach while Antonio Conte was in charge of the Premier League team in 2022.

But this potential move to Belgium’s second tier side, would be Toure’s first foray into management.

The 42-year-old retired in 2019, after playing for clubs like Barcelona, Monaco and Olympiacos.

He began working on his coaching badges following one season with Chinese outfit Qingdao Hainiu.

Daring Brussels is owned by Crystal Palace shareholder John Textor.
