STEVE AUSTIN is “embarrassed”; to go from Hall of Fame to Fall of Shame â in the same week.
The WWE legend made his mark on his big return at â but not in the way he’d like.
Steve Austin gave an excuse for his accident but was still sheepish
Austin revved up his return in a surprising manner to collide with a barrierzoomed out on a fun-sized four-wheeler in front of a packed audience at theAllegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Unfortunately the 60-year-old collided with a ring barrier, leading to a fan being knocked off her feet.
Austin went on to resume his duties for the night â announcing the huge attendance and thanking those who turned up for WWE’s flagship event.
Now he’s revealed he feels sheepish about his motoring mishap.
But he still couldn’t resist PRAISING his ability with the vehicle in question.
Stone Cold toldThe Ariel Helwani Show:“Long story short, just a different throttle system.
“Because I’m pretty damn handyon afour wheeler.
“I was embarrassed about it. I think everybody’s ok, but I mean, you go out there on the biggest night in wrestling, and you end up like that.

Austin did go to check on the fan involved in the incident,as didWWE president Nick Khan.
Earlier in the week, Stone Cold had been inducted into the for the second occasion.
This time he picked up the new immortal Moment award â a joint honour with.
It’s for their famous Royal Rumble at WrestleMania back in 1997.
