fans around the world have been patiently waiting to learn their favourite player’s fates for the competition.

And the news they’d all been waiting for dropped on Thursday morning.

The draw was made live on BBC Radio 5 Live, with 2010 World Championship winner Neil Robertson in the studio.

will kick off his bid to win a historic EIGHTH world title against He Guoqiang.

Defending champion Zhao Xintong, meanwhile, will start his title defence against Liam Highfield.
