Morocco vs Croatia
Finalists in 2018, Croatia kick-start their 2022 World Cup campaign with a tricky fixture against Morocco.
Luka Modric and Co. enter the contest in fantastic touch though having won their Nations League group and finished top to qualify for the tournament.
Croatia are favourites along with Belgium to advance to the knockout stages, but will likely need maximum points to challenge for top position.
But that could be easier said than done against African Cup of Nations quarter-finalists Morocco.

Germany vs Japan
It’s time for Hansi Flick’s Germany to make a splash as they clash with Japan in their Group E opener at the Khalifa International Stadium.
Die Mannschaft couldn’t get out of the group stages at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and will want to prove they are a force to be reckoned with.
They absolutely blitzed qualifying, collecting 27 points from a possible 30, scoring 36 goals and conceding just four.

Japan reached the knockout stages in 2018, and have only suffered three defeats in their last 17 matches in all competitions.
Spain vs Costa Rica
Difficult to imagine anything other than a routine win for Spain against Costa Rica.
Luis Enrique’s side reached the semi-finals of the European Championships last year only to lose to eventual champions Italy on penalties.
Costa Rica, meanwhile, are resilient having only conceded 2+ goals twice in their last 14 games.
But generally when they’ve played high-ranked opposition, they’ve come unstuck and we expect that to happen again on Wednesday.
Belgium vs Canada
A tricky Group F means a strong start is imperative for Belgium and Canada.
Roberto Martinez’s side enter as strong favourites given their squad, which includes Manchester City superstar Kevin De Bruyne.
But the pressure of finally delivering with their golden generation could hinder Belgium, who enter the clash having lost their last two to Holland and Egypt.
Canada cannot be written off.
Manager John Herdman has some real quality in his ranks, with Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies and Lille striker Jonathan David.
