But one took their passions for the beautiful game and the wacky backy to new heights by making a replica trophy out of weed.
Videos on social media showed a man firing up the trophy with a lighter gun.
Upon the trophy being lit, several people at the gathering began puffing away.
They were all too happy to partake in the puff, puff, passing of the trophy.
Footage of the weed version of the World Cup trophy spread like wildfire on social media.
One viewer commented: “The beautiful game just got way more chill.”
Another said: “These people are gonna have high hopes.”
And another said: “You just know stuff like this can only happen in America.
“I’m surprised they didn’t invite Snoop Dogg🤣🤣🤣🤣.”
One person remarked: “Wildest thing I’ve smoked in 2026 so far LMAO.
“SHOUTOUT TO WEAVERS for the roll.”
Another chimed in: “Bro passed the World Cup trophy… and it was a JOINT effort!
“‘s new ‘high’ score record just dropped.”
Footage of the joint trophy hit social media just days after Fifa asked a Toronto-based shop to stop selling World Cup trophy-shaped bongs.
Sean Kady, the co-owner of Cosmic Charlies, recently revealed that world ‘s governing body sent him a cease and desist order after learning the store’s latest item.
He told The Canadian Press: “I poked the bear. I guess it was to be expected.”
Kady plans to keep the order, saying: “I am going to frame it. One hundred per cent.
“I’m just deciding which part. It’s quite long, to be honest.”
