Who is World Cup final referee Slavko Vincic?
Slavko Vincic is a 46-year-old referee from Slovenia, who has been appointed to take charge of the World Cup final.
Vincic has been a Fifa listed referee since 2010, and his first taste of tournament football came when he was an assistant to Damir Skomina at Euro 2012.
The Slovenian has big game experience in abundance, having refereed the 2024 Champions League final and the 2022 Europa League final.
At Euro 2020, he officiated Spain, taking charge of their game against Sweden, alongside also taking charge of Switzerland vs Turkey, and Italy vs Belgium.
The 46-year-old was at the Club World Cup last summer, and brandished nine yellow cards and one red card in a game between River Plate and Monterrey.
He has already shown his red card at this tournament, sending off Arsenal defender Piero Hincapie for covering his mouth in their loss to Mexico.

Vincic was probed as a witness, before being released, with police deeming he had nothing to do with any crime being committed.
On being at the wrong place at the wrong time, Vincic later told Slovenian media: “I found myself on this ranch by chance. I have my own company, I was in Bosnia and Herzegovina for a business meeting.
“I accepted an invitation to lunch, which turned out to be my biggest mistake. I regret it. I was sitting at a table with my company, all of a sudden the police came and what happened, happened.
“I have nothing to do with the group that was arrested and detained, nor do my business partners.
“Yes, they really took us to the police, asked [us] as witnesses, when it turned out that we didn’t even know them, we were able to go.”
