The defender has picked up five caps to date in his career and would have been in contention for a World Cup spot if not for the injury.

But Colwill is not letting the snub get the better of him and is consoling himself on holiday.

He broke his silence for the first time since being left out by posting on .

Like the England team, Colwill have travelled across the Atlantic Ocean but his destination was not Mexico, Canada or the USA.

Instead, he has jetted off to the idyllic Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago.

He shared a picture of a scenic beach with the caption: “Back home in the best place in the world.”

Chelsea fans were pleased to see their star enjoy some rest and recuperation ahead of the 2026-27 season.
