Croatia forward, Andrej Kramaric, has tipped Brazil to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup ahead of Argentina, among others.
Kramaric also said that he is set to cheer for Argentina at the World Cup because of his admiration for their captain Lionel Messi.
Messi is set to captain Argentina in the ongoing quadrennial tournament in his fifth and final appearance.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Kramaric lauded the Paris Saint-Germain forward.
“I think 95% of players would agree Messi is the greatest player to ever play this game. I don’t think we will see a player like him again,” Kramaric said (via Reuters).
“So, I am cheering in that regard for Argentina, but I think Brazil will win.”
