COPS have released CCTV images of a man after two women were reportedly sexually assaulted at a pub.

The force says the man “inappropriately touched” both victims during the incident in the early hours of Sunday, July 19.

The pair were reportedly approached by him at the New Imperial on Albert Road, Widnes, near Cheshire.

It happened sometime between 12.03am and 12.15am, with officers launching an investigation following the reports.

Now cops have released CCTV images of a man they believe could assist with their enquiries.

Police Constable Jade Bellerby said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing, and we are urging anyone who recognises the man pictured to get in touch.

“We believe he may be from the South Wales area and would also appeal directly to him to contact us.

“We would also like to hear from anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage that could assist our investigation, or from anyone who witnessed the incident.”
