Stunned drinkers watched as the chaos erupted outside The Watch House on Lewisham High Street in southeast London.

The fight unfolded on May 21, as temperatures hit 23C and Brits flocked to gardens to soak up the sunshine.

Two of the women appeared to be at the centre of the fight as they exchanged punches and yanked each other’s hair while pals tried to pull them apart.

But the attempts to calm things down failed when three of the women suddenly tumbled to the floor in a heap.

One woman wearing leggings eventually got back to her feet and calmly walked back to her seat outside the pub as stunned drinkers looked on.

Other pub-goers later stepped in to separate the group and ease tensions following the violent scenes.

One person said: “Ah a punch up at spoons, as traditionally English as fish and chips.”

Another added: “Bit of sun and a few babychams.”

One other person said: “A little warm and alcohol.”

Another joked: “And that was happy hour.”

One viewer added: “That poor dog.”

The Sun has contacted the Met for comment.

A Wetherspoons spokesperson said: “An incident took place outside the pub following a disagreement inside . We will assist the police with their investigation.”
