A MURDER investigation has been launched after a 68-year-old woman was stabbed to death and a man was found with “life threatening injuries.”
Cops were scrambled to an address at 10am on January 9 where they discovered Gilly Livie seriously injured.

Paramedics also responded to the home off the B3046 in Cheriton, Hampshire and battled to save the woman’s life.
Tragically, despite their best efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem confirmed a stab wound to the neck as the cause of death, cops said.
A 39-year-old man, who was known to the woman, was also found at the address.
He had suffered injuries to his neck and leg that were described as “life threatening.”
Paramedics rushed the man to hospital to receive treatment, he remains in a stable condition.
A Police spokesman said no-one else was being sought in connection with the incident.
Chief Inspector Korine Bishop said: “We know this incident will cause great shock in the community. I want to reassure people we have a large number of officers working hard on this investigation.
“While those enquiries are ongoing, we do not believe there is any further or ongoing risk to the community. At this time we are not looking for any other third party in connection to this investigation, but will continue to investigate with an open mind.
“Our officers have been carrying out enquiries at the address since this was reported to us and are likely to remain in the area in the coming days.
“If you live locally and have any concerns or questions, please speak to those uniformed officers.”
