A WOMAN was left with a broken finger after a man allegedly sexually assaulted her, punched her in the chest and pulled her hair.
were called to reports that a woman in her 30s had been attacked in Aldershot, , on Saturday night.
A man, unknown to the alleged victim, approached her and kissed her before pulling her hair and punching her in the chest.
The woman was able to run away from the man and was later taken to hospital for treatment.
She suffered a broken finger, a concussion and bruising and scratches.
Hampshire Constabulary is now appealing for any information that may assist them as they investigate the reported attack.
The man is described as being white, aged between 20 and 30, 6ft tall, of medium build with light brown hair.
He was wearing a blue shirt.
The reported assault occurred at around 11:30pm on Alison’s Road, cops said.
The force added: “Please be reassured that we are taking this report extremely seriously and there will be an increased police presence in the area as officers carry out enquiries.
